Following half a decade of delicate microscopic work by our international conservation team, Wandau Museum is thrilled to unveil the fully restored vaulted frescoes of the Renaissance North Hall.
Using non-invasive spectroscopic imaging and precision laser ablation, conservators successfully removed centuries of soot, varnish yellowing, and previous overpainting without altering the original organic pigments.
"This is arguably the most intact example of early Cinquecento atmospheric perspective surviving outside Northern Italy." — Dr. Eleanor Vance
Visitors can now book specialized guided sessions focusing on the restoration technique, complete with before-and-after multispectral analysis stations.
